What are some good cheap ones? For normal street driving.
i love my AEMs. i have put about 500 miles on mine so far. the first 300 miles they dusted black on my gsr wheels. But now, the dust is very light. i can’t even tell there is dust! they retail for about $35-45 for the front, so they’re not that expensive.
I’ve had axxis metal master and their good. A lot of dust though
If you want cheap pads, go to Pep boys. You won’t notice the difference unless you’re auto crossing or driving like an idiot through the Ortega Highway.
They may dust a lot, but that’s why I have black wheels ![]()
Seriously, most people NEVER drive to the point of experiencing (sp?) pad fade. Most likely, you old fluid will boil before your pads start getting soft.
I use Pep Boy daily and Hawk’s for the track.
HTH
the problem with pep boy is that the pads are not an OEM fit so they can wobble in the caliper and cause a rotor to warp. happened to my car, dam albany pads and their dam lifetime warranty that drew me to get them.

Hmm, I’ll have to check that out. Thanks.
