My brake pedal feels reallly spongy, i almost have to push it to the floor to stop.Ive already bled the brakes and got all the air out, definately no air , still no change, theres no hole in the brake lines, my pads are not that worn, still in pretty good shape, so what else?
Your master cylinder needs to be replaced. I had the same problem.
I’d say your master cylinder is on its way out the door… just a guess though. Can you pump the brakes and build up the pressure? If you can’t build up any pressure in the pedal then I’d check the master cylinder.
well if it was the power booster it would not get tight after you press on it with the engine off, right. How do i know for sure its the master cylinder.
when my master cylinder went out I had good initial braking but while sitting still my pedal would slowly sink to the floor.

Same thing would happen to me.
im going thru this right now. ive got a new master cylinder sitting on my floor.
mine has the same problem. but when i pump it, it does build pressure (pretty hard). sometimes the abs light would come on. been noticing it pretty much comes on during the day goes out during night. weird. the mech said there were no problems except the pads are going on the rear. anyone know whats wrong with that?
my rear pads are going too, maybe that is the problem.
check if pads move free if pad surface worn even if ok check rubber flex lines at calipers do caliper pins move free, do pistons move free, if ok dose psi build if peddel is pumped then possible master problem
