:tapfing:For some odd reason today i was on my way to school, and when i pulled up to the light i had to brake much more hard to stop. this is the second i ran to this problem.I check the brakes pad, bleed the lines, check fluid and then check for bubbles everything looks fin. But the problem still occurs. i even tried pumping the brake pedal, still wont’s bite. Help:pupeyes:
my brake pedal pops and goes to the floor. My brakes work probably at about 15% its only enough to slow me down if i’m going under 25mph. Not sure what it is i assume its a brake line because i checked to see if there was brake fluid and there’s:read barely any at all in it now.
Check the master cylinder
yea i was thing that too, but when i got out of class and started the car it went away. But most likely i should change it out for a new one.
more than likely the brake booster, mine is doing the same, i researched it and thats what was supposed to be the culprit. i’m going to my normal mechanic and if he isnt about bullshit cuz of personal dilemnas i’m going to talk to him, make sure that sounds right and get a quote to get it done
I agreed it’s the brake booster. Just pick one up at a pick n pull.
scratch my post…i just went ahead and had my master cylinder replaced…no more sinking to the floor…try the master cylinder first…local advance had it for $45 +$20 core charge

no problem man…i was having a hard time thinking about replacing the booster. i knew i could do the master cylinder myself but i didnt/couldnt find info on how to replace the booster…so i just did the master cylinder (had a friend of mine do it) and it fixed it…here’s the links i used (at the end of the video it shows just incase you have a spongy pedal how to ‘fix’ it) and yes it is 90-93 integra specific…gota love eric the car guy

[/QUOTE]lol after watching this video i am going to most likely pick up the master cylinder, and have it done in auto shop.
you can save money…the hardest part is making sure the MC is bled properly and the vid shows exactly how to do it. after its bled, just make sure it stays topped off w/ brake fluid while you’re working on the car. you dont even need someone there to do the last bleeding procedure. my boy did it w/o me there, i thought that last bleeding procedure was mandatory, its not. my pedal feels awesome. i just need to do my pads, rotors and calipers next
