Bremerton SCCA National Tour

Howdy everyone, I just got back from my first National Tour. I’ve been autocrossing for about 5 months now, started out in Novice class, got kicked out of that, and have had 3 races in STS so far. I placed 4th at the NT in STS, behind, Kevin McCormick, His Co-Driver, and Shane Jensen. I had a few people ask about G2IC and what not. I dunno Neil, I think it might be grounds for an honerary Premier Membership  .

Congrats guy on the 4th place! Here in Atwater Kevin and, I think it was Katie(?) had that Civic screaming before they headed to Washington. Didn’t help my points in STS here in our region that’s for sure. :bang: How many cars ran in the class at Nationals?
Good luck.

Nice job, I wish the NT would come near me so I could lose to some good drivers.

yeah katie alder is her name right? yeah that thing was hauling ass. He was in the top 10 PAX if i remember right. I don’t know if its mostly driver, but the Civic Si hatch’s might need to be reclassed into STX or something. He had a better time than all of DSP (race rubber) and would have taken 5th in SM (also race rubber) for those who dont know.

Great Job! Wow, that’s a very small STS class for nats. I was actually thinking about going up there for this race a few months ago, but got really busy at work and couldn’t make it. Congrats again. Looks like you were really close to getting a national trophy.

Nice Job.

I really wish I were there now. Maybe next year I’ll have a car for it.

Kevin McCormick is an excellent driver, apparently he was a DS national champ when DS was really hot. He kicked my ass handily last year, same with some David Rock guy who drove a Celica GT-S.

BTW- I saw that BMW that placed last at a BSCC autoX that I went to. It looked like a wicked set-up. I wish I could afford something like that.

Roldan - What happened to your Integra? What BMW are you talking about? Yeah you should come back and kick my ass in STS a bit, people still talk about you every time I ask someone something about car setup.

Nino - Next year :stuck_out_tongue:

Here’s the setup as of now, I’m pretty happy with it so far but there’s a few things I’d like to change.

-1.8* front camber -2.3* rear camber
195/60/14 Azenis on 5.5" wheels (36 PSI Front 31 PSI Rear)
HR Sports
Tokico Illuminas (2 front 5 rear)
Piece of shit FUSB
C-Pillar Bar
RLTB
ST Rear Sway
I/H/E

By next season, I’d like to have…
205/50/15 Azenis (maybe even the 215/45/16s) same psi with a smaller sidewall
Lightweight 15x7" wheels (probably Rota Slipstreams or those Flourescent Green Konigs :p)
RUSB
OmniSport UCA’s (-2.5* to -3* camber)
Adjustable RCA’s (-1* to -2* camber)
Maybe maybe maybe I might spring for GC/Koni suspension too. :hmm:

Anyone know about these tires?
Yokohama

There’s nothing wrong with my Integra but I’m in the proccess of converting it to ITA this summer so it will not be STS legal. And I just don’t have enough time to take a weekend off because of work.

I think your set up is fine. I’d recomend GC and wider Azenis though, that’s all I’d spend money on. I don’t think camber correction is neccesary in front.

Yeah I’d like to get less camber in the rear for starters. It’ll just snap around back there without much warning. -1.8* should be enough, I’d like to have around -2.5-3* though. The Azenis I’m 90% sure I’ll do, unless my current 14’s are still useable. I’d like to send my shocks back to Tokico to get revalved, then sell my current suspension and buy the GC/Koni stuff. Oh yeah, and throw onto that shopping list a new clutch
