well this is offocially the 4th power antennea that has been broken on my teg since i bought her in 92… got a lil fed up with paying 100.00 for new ones from the dealer and have always hated how high it actually sticks up when driving… kinda makes it look like a big ass RC car LOL… well anyways the last time it broke i could not get it to push down and jus stay there so i decided to jus cut it off one day… needless to say it jus looked nasty like that so i found some rubber caps laying around :idea: and decided to see what i could come up with to atleast make it look clean… btw i have no reduction in reception with it cut like this… what yall think…
92 Accord DX antenna plug … fits from what I have heard. I’m about to order one up, I got electrical tape covering the hole for now lol … I’ve broken two, and never use the radio, so I said toss it!
SE-37K its wierd how prices change from dealer to dealer… i asked a guy at covina acura and he said the prices change because of the different owners and it jus depends on them on which parts (oem honda & aftermarket rep.) they want to stock and how much they jus feel like charging.
integraccino LOL joystick. i have a bag full of these so i could either make one a lil longer… or jus cut the antennea a lil more hehe. i dont really like the fuba style all that much. some guy tried to rip me off on a mdx one i wanted to buy from him but it never happened. and it looks misshaped in the pic for some reason but the cap is actually perfecty straight… looks better in person i guess.
redlineintegra i like the plug aswell, but its one of those “i dont wanna look like the rest” issues hahahha… depending on how long the paint holds up with mine, ill probly end up getting the plug anyways …

Yeah, I hear you. Mine was the Genuine Honda part. If you’re in Covina and can make the drive, go to Southcoast Acura and tell the parts people you’re from G2 Club
