How can you tell if you have a broken motor mount? Whenever i go from first to second really hard i get this “clunk” on my passenger side? It sounds like my motor or tranny is hitting the firewall or some other metal part. I reved the engine and it doesnt look like it moves very much. If it makes a difference I have an ACT clutch that grabs pretty hard with a short shifter. Any help is appreciated and if you have any other solutions to the problem dont hesitate to post.

u can tell right away if ur mounts are bad. look for the inner rubber piece being dry and ripped or the actual mount. how does it sound when u get on it. if theyre bad…replace immediately
