i believe the hose is 3/8" but the coupling is 1/8"

3/16" is the hose size that you would use to fix a -3an female hose end to…it comes with the fitting and the -3an to 1/8" NPT union already attached the hose.

***Remember, use teflon tape on NPT fittings but not on -AN fittings

so i just realized something about welding the oil return on the oil pan. i dont have gas for my mig (+150) so i cant weld aluminum, and most if not all AN ones are Al. then brass has to be brazed, and i ran out of acetylene gas ($25 refill). i cringe at using jb weld. dont know if i like having it anything but welded. what to do…

They look like the steel thing in this pic with the hex nut on the one side and the -10 ‘nipple’ on the other. Just above the ‘bly’ in “assembly”

Ehh I know there hasnt been too many questions regaurding oil lines lately…but I just told my friend what he needs, so I thought I would share with you.

This setup is if you want to have a tee on the firewall, with two oil pressure senders (stock, and aftermarket) and an 1/8" npt thread on the turbo itself.

All part numbers refer to http://www.mcmaster.com . Here is a screenshot of the final order.

Walkthrough of parts and why you need them:

1screws into tee on firewall, used for stock oil pressure sender

2screws into stock oil pressure sender hole, used for the 24" braided line.

3These two tees go on the firewall. They get oil from the block, and send oil to the the turbo and oil pressure sender(s)

4Hose from block to tee assembly on firewall

5Hose from tee assembly to turbo feed

6Used to connect the two tees on the firewall

7Fitting for the union between the hose from tee, and the turbo feed.

here is a rough overview of what you will see when you open the box, plus or minus a few things.

And here is the tee assembly on the firewall. Note stock oil pressure sender on bottom right tee, plug (because i dont have aftermarket oil pressure sender) on top right, oil feed to turbo on top left (not yet connected) and oil source on bottom left

If you do not want the tee on the firewall…

you can 1.) put it on the block
in which case add part number 50785K219, remove 3, 4 and 6.

or you can 2.) get rid any oil pressure sender, and simply keep part numbers 1, 5 and 7.

I hope this was more help than confusion…and hopefully I did not make any typos or errors. It took me a while to type all this in, I hope its worth it… :crook:

oh ya and dont forget you can just pickup the guage adapter kit from autozone for 5bucks which comes with the bspt to npt adapter and a few other fittings as well.

eh, the tuner toys fitting works ok, but for $46 for the WHOLE FEED LINE KIT…you cant beat McMasterCarr parts

actually i can. i’m getting oil feed and return lines for 4600 bucks, and they come with a free full-race turbo kit including a GT35R turbo.
