I have a choice 2 make 
I need some well based opinons. Sell my 2nd gen and purchase a 3rd gen ITR or build my DA. I have an army income with a bonus on the way. Just need to make a choice.
3rd gen is a girls car, Its back end is round, has curves, think about it. 2nd gen is a mans car it has straight body lines and looks way better.
Build a DA that beats an ITR. You’ll feel better with the results.
What do you plan on doing build wise? And if you do get a g2 and rebuild it, is it going to be your daily? Reliable daily? Is the ITR stock? would you rather have a new car, ITR, and keep stock for awhile or would you like to pick up an older car to build. Which maybe faster/handle better depending on the build. Do you have time for the build? Is it a long build?
thanks for the input…still borderline, also with the ITR i’d be purchasing a JDM front end conversion kit. I despise the USDM circle headlight look.
it would be more of a daily car for now so i’d keep it stock for awhile or until I find a nice DD, and can transform the vehicle into a track car. Im stationed in fort sill, oklahoma. I need something to make me happy when i’m home.
If you want to eventually have a track car, don’t bother with the ITR. You are paying a higher price to start with for a bunch of stuff you are going to throw away!
Are you mechanically inclined? Do you enjoy working on your car when you are home? If you are kind of whatever about working on it and just want something that looks nice and is fun to drive, then just buy the ITR, change the front end for Jesus and just drive it as-is.
However, if you want some beast race-car and you get a kick out of shopping around for parts and for planning and figuring out exactly what you are going to do, then keep the G2 and buy some boring daily driver that you won’t be interested in modifying and use what is left to make the G2 a track-beast!
well what ever you decide i hope you got a nice safe place to store the car in while you are away.ITRs are cool but cost a lot to insure.keep that in mind.
ITR’s are cop and thief magnets.
Keep the DA and swap it with the type r. There you go. Now you have both.
DA FTMFW ! this is a G2 SITE ! And further more, a stock DA isnt that much slower compared to a stock ITR. with the money spent on getting an ITR … you can get a DA and use the rest of that money to make a ITR look like it shouldnt have left the showroom floor.
