bulbs for headlights

hello,

I want to learn more about the different light bulbs that I can use to replace my stock headlamps. What kind of bulbs can I use for the main Hi/Low beams (9006 series?) and fog lamps? Are they the same for the madtyteJDM headlights? What are the H4 and H4H bulbs I hear people talking about. I’ve also seen a thread by a sponsor here selling HID bulbs. What series would I need for the hi/low beams in the USDM or JDM headlights?

I wouldn’t be able to identify which bulbs are what if I saw them, so it would be very helpful if someone could answer this seemingly simple question.

i think there is also something in the teg tips section corresponding to your non searched topic

I looked in the “Lighting” section of the TEG TIPS™ , but I didn’t see anything. There was bulb replacement, installation, and JDM one piece renewing. But, I didn’t see anything specifically about which bulbs fit which headlight assembly.
