This is what happens when you follow their directions.
They did step up and cover the cost of repairs, but we found a few friends who had experienced the same problem while WELL within torque specs and following their directions to the word. If its happened several times amongst our small group of friends, who knows how widespread of a problem this is. We’re chugging along and its fixed and installed already, but who knows how long this “repair” will last on an intake manifold that should’ve never been damaged in the first place.
Their engine management is still cool though, and when all is said and done they did step up and handle the problem responsibly, so 
for that. They really need to re-evaluate their instructions, though.

You should see the list that I did while I was on vacation. It was about 150 items and I spent most of the night last night checking things off of it getting ready.
Don’t worry, the helmet is on the list and I keep checking its status from Summit. Its due to be here tomorrow. Now I just need to figure out if I want to wear gloves.

No oil for me. Last time I brought oil I rolled over onto it in my drunken stupor and woke up with motor oil soaking my clothes and hair. :bang:
