Buying a used DA9 - oil leakage under hood?

Hey everyone, there’s this used DA9 for sale (really cheap), went to inspect it today and there’s a lot of (what looks like) oil under the hood. Any ideas what’s wrong/what will be required to fix?

I’ve also uploaded some other photos of the car, I realize this is the wrong forum for those but I don’t want to clutter all the other subforums.

There’s a pic of what looks like rusty welding after the… catalytic converter? Also one of the rear windscreen, there’s quite a large gap between the windscreen and the roof panel. And lastly, there’s one of the underside of the car, if you look closely you’ll see that the panel thingy on the left of the picture is hanging significantly lower than the right, seems like it was bent or something. The number plate is also crinkled and there’s some issues with the paint work on the bumper, might be related to the underside issues… might these be a problem down the road?

Thanks in advance!

From the pics it looks like the oil is leaking from either the cam seal or the valve cover. Either one is relatively easy to fix. If the car is high mileage you’d probably want to do a valve adjustment anyway.
The gap for the rear windshield looks about like mine does. I’ve never had any leaks or anything in the 7 years I’ve had my car.

As for your rusty weld on the exhaust, that is very normal. Most welds are the first things to rust. You can easily buy some rust check exhaust paint and paint that stuff up to stop it from getting worse.
and yeah X2 on the Cam seal/valve cover leak. Easy fix.

+1 on the Cam seal/valve cover leak. VERY easy to fix.

Thanks guys! You’ve put my mind at ease. Going to get a mechanic to take a look, see if there’s anything I’ve missed, and if everything is good I’m going to make it mine.
