Buying an Intake

First of, i wanna say sup to everyone.
My question is what kind of intake is good for my integra. I am new to this so i would like some suggestions from you members. My intake has three outlets or inlets. One for the O2 sensor and two others that connect to the intake manifold. I’ve been looking for intakes but all the intakes that i looked at had two outlet/inlet. So sugggestions would help me a lot.

i just baught my AEM intake… BEST OF QUALITY… i already posted the same as yours earlier most everyone told me AEM… it works great…best hp gains… and if you hurry on ebay they have a short ram for 99.99 and a cold air for i think 150

p.s. the offer it in polished silver, red, or blue… i got red to go with my black car. mmmmm…mmmm… sexy, i just want to have a moment alone with my car… Hope i helped man…

if you dont wanna spend a lot of dough, just go to ebay and buy any old thing under $50. they all pretty much do the same. there are 2 types. ram air ( short ) or cold air ( goes down into wheel well ) …cold air intakes are usually more expensive, but bigger hp gains, but dangerious when driving through high rain or puddles ( due to hydralock ) but for the most part and intake is an intake. if your just gonna be sooping up your ride and driving around lookin cool hittin the track up every now and then, just get anything. If you need every critical HP there is, get an AEM. AEM and ICEMAN make fine units, but they also carry an expensive penny. if you have the funds, by all means they are the best but if not, you wont be disappointed w/ the regular run of the mill intake, plus (check the teg tips) you can make your own cold air. hope that helps

ARCHIVETHIS–

Neil-- wee need to expand on this message b/c this is definately something new people are asking. thanks bro, if it sucks, then just delete it. merry xmas.

I’d get an AEM CAI, I love mine. It adds good power thoughout the rev range, especially in the meat of the powerband.

ARCHIVETHIS unless there already is an intake post…this question is asked a lot

Yeah, definitely a good archive post. I’d recommend a search on honda-acura.net and superhonda.org as they both have good posts on this same subject. A lot of debate goes on between whether to get AEM, Injen, or Comptech (most people have G3’s over there). I don’t think an Ice Box is made for our car, and I’m not sure if Injen makes a CAI for our cars either. But there are dynos of all of them and everything, so I’d recommend on those two boards.

theyre all the same…

They are all the same, or I know of people who have made their own for less than $50. I have Injen and I reccommend them for one reason: Whepaperwork for it and one n I had to get my car inspected to pass smog, I needed some call to Injen and they faxed over the carb sheet and other info within the hour. It was great cust. service and to me that means alot.

Yeah, but the AEM intake has the CARB # and all right on the intake.

I have a short ram intake now ! Is the cai quieter than the short ram?

i dont know about you, but to me the aem sounds quieter than most other intakes…anyone else notice this? just wondering…
