ok, so right now i have a b16a complete changeover from hmotorsonline in my car. Today my friend called me and said someone he knows is selling a b18c5 longblock for 400 dollars. I’m thinking damn thats cheap. He said there are no problems and it has about 90k on it. I would like to know all that would be required to put this in my car. I’m pretty sure its obd2 and i have obd1. could i use the b16a ecu? would i have to buy some type of converter harness? I would want to just keep my short geared ys1 tranny and use the c5 motor. does this seem like a good idea?

does anyone know if i can use the b16 ecu and what would i do about obd2 to obd1?
