Just curious what type of coating did you have the brake booster done with? The powdercoater I use says he can’t do brake boosters because of the diaphram inside of it. If there’s an alternative to paint I’d love to hear it. Thanks!
When I took it to the powder coater I was under the impression that they did the brake booster as well. I don’t think he mentioned doing that differently, but if he just did his own thing I don’t know what he did.
I kind of remember something about him having to do one part in a different type of paint now, so maybe that was it. He said they spray it with a paint, but the paint was from the same manufacturer as the powered coating, so all the colors would be the same. Maybe your guy has the same option?
Yeah the diaphragm would melt in the oven when they go to cure the powder…
