sent you a text. im looking for stock DB2 intake (mainly looking for the stock arm/pipe) not the intake manifold.

bump! still looking for DB2 stock intake arm.

the factory air box/arm is a little hard to find. it is different from b18a/b versions. Best direction i can give you is to look for a b16 version. i should have a little back ‘bubble’ near the TB.

i was hoping db2 owners wouldve chucked the stock airbox for something aftermarket. i looked at the b16 version and the breather inlet (where the house from valve cover to intake arm) is at different location.

^Many of them have, but unfortunately for most that was a LONG time ago. SO many cars now have had parts like that removed and tossed. Finding this sorta thing is tough now :frowning: Keep looking and you’ll find one eventually, just don’t be surprised if it takes a while.

a little OT, youre pretty local to me right?
whats a good pick a parts yard with good honda selection?

Most of the local ones have an OK selection, but I don’t go all that often. Plus with the inventory changing weekly each yard will be different each time you go.

Check out the LKQ Pick Your Part locations: http://www.lkqpickyourpart.com/locations/
I’ve been to the Stanton one (once) as well as the two over near me in Wilmington. The nice thing about the LKQ yards is that you can check the inventory, although I’m not sure how accurate it is.

Ecology also has one fairly close but I’ve never been. But when I lived in SD 15yrs ago I used to frequent the locations down there in Chula Vista and they were pretty good.

This reminds me, I need to take a trip to the junk yard soon to look for some window trim.

thanks Colin!

bump!
