I have the bushing kit and brand new manual rack not sure if I want to do the swap or not
da9bigboi, Stumbled across this kit the other day - super good price, cheaper than they were originally from the Guru. I can also vouch for the seller, Art, I’ve bought from and sold to him before. http://hondamarketplace.com/showthread.php?t=2826593
brentpadgett, the new rack you’re selling, is it OEM or aftermarket?
I ordered it through my friends shop so I am going to assume its after market he used the same rack in his DA
Yeah I was also thinking bout not doing the swap anymore either from some reviews I read. But I might though. Hey Colin since you track your car which route did you go. Ps or no ps. Ef manual rack or just loop tubes. Thanks for the post. I remember that guy selling some stuff on here too and that price sounds good. Mayb I should get em just incase. I really hate no ps since it just went out on me the other day. I just hope the ef rack works a lil better than the DA rack with no ps. I remember my ef hatch wasn’t that bad with turns like the DA.
I mean the power steering feels good but when it comes to daily driving. Ahhh
Having a true manual rack will be better than looping the DA powering steering rack
How bout this post. It requires to move some valves that’s in the rack and pinion. Would this method free up some better turning w/o struggling.

Don’t loop the lines, just do it the right way if you are going to bother in the first place.
A true manual rack will not feel like your DA one with no PS. Not the same, one uses fluid, which is why you need to remove valves so the fluid can flow back and forth freely. EF racks are built with grease instead of fluid. I know people remove valves with success, but I still wouldnt personally.
I need to get my hands on a kit as well so I can finally finish my rack swap.
I have a kit. Make an offer.
i track mine, and im running the ef manual rack, wouldnt have it any other way
You dont need a special bushing kit. I did a write up in the Teg Tips section its rather easy. I used a CRX rack, I would recommend an Si rack or get the Quaife kit for Non-Si racks.
