what do you mean by retaining clips? got a pic to reference?
the metal piece that holds the bulb to the headlight housing to keep it from falling out. and there are screws that it uses to hold the bulb. I don’t have any pics sadly.

Here’s what you can use. The same retainers are also in the civic h4. So hit up the junk yard and look at 92-95 civics. They have the same ones you can use.
Are you sure they are the exact same?
