wats up peeps, well my cable clutch snap on me yestarday, and now im gettin ready to get a new one…just wondering wat is the procedure of installing the clutch cable?? if u guys can help me out with that…, i dont wanna make the mistake by making the cable being streach out which it was, before it snap because the mechanic who did my clucth job over streach my cable clutch so i dont wanna make the same mistake as him…
I’ve never heard of stretching the cable before, considering ever time you push the peddle you are stretching it.
All i did was feed it through the firewall to the peddle, then connected it to the tranny. Worked fine for me the past 3 years.
okay so i start by puttin it on the pedal and work my way to the tranny right?..got itt
That’s how I did it any it worked fine. If there is some kind of special installation, I have never heard of it.
It was a little tough to get into the tranny housing, but nothing major.
Only thing to adjust is free play.
