cable to hydro con.

is ne1 usin the innovative cable to hydro conversion kit?..

im using Hasport:rockon:

how is that workin for ya??? i heard they can b a pain ha

I’m using the Hasport kit as well and I am very disappointed. I am constantly readjusting it, and even when it is “adjusted” there are no predictable clutch engagement/release points. Thats beside the fact that it causes my clutch to intermittently slip even with the pedal completely released:bang:. I have heard mixed reviews on both setups but most are hearsay and I know from personal experience that I DO NOT like the Hasport kit! In other words, I too want opinions of the innovative kit

well mine is on and had to kinda rig the clutch cable to stand str8(it broke when i got it on and pressed the pedal a few times)…i ghetto rigged the cable to work lol but it will get the job done till i get to a warm garage. newhoo…it seems like it does a better job then hasport…from wat i hear neway. im gonna prob end up sellin my b16 n gsr tranny n buy a ys1 or sumtin…

Sucks it broke! Good heads up though. I might try to do a little mod to mine that Larry Widmer did to his with a heim joint http://www.theoldone.com/articles/Larryscivic/Larrys_Civic.htm . I haven’t seen many pictures (let alone in person) of the innovative kit. Do you think the design can be “improved” upon? How is the pedal feel and clutch engagement/release?

I had one for a year now… Mixed emotions on it. It works nice but its ugly. If you dont have an OEM cable you will melt them.

Is that because it places the cable close to the exhaust manifold? And from what I hear, you have to use a slim fan. Is this true?
