Cable To Hydro Conversion???

Ive looked everywhere and im getting a bunch of different answers, maybe someone can help me pleezzeeeeee.

Im looking to do a complete full change over from a cable tranny to a hydro tranny. Not using the hasport conversion kit that keeps the cable. Not using the innovative cylinder that has the slave cylinder that mounts to the radiator support. But the whole thing about changing the master cylinder or something, with a different pedal assembly etc.

I don’t know much of what im talking about, but from im reading is that the conversion kit that uses the cable on a hydro tranny sucks and doesn’t feel right. I also read that the innovative kit with the mounting thing has a lot of problems. (?)

Anyone know how to completely convert to hydro???

I been trying to find it as well but since they came out with these new kits no one wants to help so if you find anything good let me know lol im tired of looking

if you want to save time and money just put the internals of your hydro trans into a ys1 case and be done with it. so much simpler. unless you really want a hydro clutch for some reason.

So the internals from any hydro b series will fit into a ys1 case? gsr, type r, what have you…

Suja 1 developed and sells a kit for converting to full hydro

yes. the only mod you have to do is if you use a type-r lsd. you need to grind a bit off the case which wasn’t removed since it wasn’t need for the ys1 non lsd diff.

Well what if some of us really do want to spend the time to do the set up correct with a full hydro swap anyone know a link to a decent how to?

There is a “how to” somewhere on here using the whole pedal assembly, lines, tranny, etc etc from a newer model Integra…you just need some aftermarket bracket for it to mount solid. Other than that it seemed pretty easy.

Is this it? Looks interesting.

fyi i have the hasport conversion and its just fine dont know how it sucks but thats just me…

Here is a thread I put together with pics of my hydro setup…

JDM_DB1, I was going to suggest that. That setup looks like the best choice if you want convert to hydro. In the distant future, I plan on going this route.

i agree had it for like 5 months make sure u change cablw when u do it

Here is the Hush22 kit, looks like it comes with everything needed to complete the conversion. Cept a hydro tranny mount.
