This is silly:
I looked over a bunch of threads and apparently almost all cai’s do the same goddamn thing, and now that my AEM got broken into by my asshole bro I need a new one. I was thinking Ebay since I have no $$, but I cant tell from their crappy pics if the CAI that their selling goes just to the battery (longer then short ram, shorted then full cai) or down lower than the batt(what I had before). I take it lower is better, so does anyone know which one, if any, of those intakes reach like that? I need teh horses! :rockon:
an intake won’t give you massive hp, regardless if its short ram or cold air. which one is better is determined on your engine setup and hp goals at specific rpm ranges. cold air is not always better.
if the filter sits next to the battery, its a short ram. if no filter is visible, then that means the filter is place in the fenderwell, then it being a cold air.

what ever intake that is being sold on ebay should say whether it is a cold air or short ram. read the description :roll: don’t rely on pictures. read.
