caliper problems, maybe?

i know my rear passenger rotor needs to be replaced, and i have already ordered two for the rears. i probably shouldn’t be driving it, and i try to avoid it, but sometimes i have to. the brake pad has already been eaten away and scrapes really bad on the rotor when i brake, but lately it makes a scraping noise (not that loud, probably only noticable because i have my rear seats out) during normal driving. last night i was in a drive thu and it locked up… i had to sit there becuase they were slow and once i got out of the drive thru the wheel was completely locked up and wouldn’t move… i could reverse and eventually i backed up a small slope, let the car drift down (the wheel wasn’t locking up then) and started going and it was fine… i made it all the way home without having to stop… so what do you guys think? do you think i should order some new calipers? and if so… what are some good calipers for a small budget? oem? thanks… all opinions welcomed and appreciated… thanks again

first try to compress the calipers before ordering anything. On the rears you have to turn them in to compress them. If they won’t go in then you’ll know they seized. I think with a core, OEM calipers run around $60. HTH
