Just wondering if anyone knew the adv/or disadvantage of removing the cam gear cover.

The only advantage to removing it is that if you have adjustable cam gears you wont have to remove the valve cover each time you need to adjust them.
I guess that looks could also be considered an advantage if your into that kind of stuff.
The disadvantages outweigh the advantages though… Imagine what would happen if you were to get a rock in there. It wouldnt be pretty, that is for sure.
