I wanted to get some information on camber kits, what are the best kinds and how to install them. Please help. Thanks… -this is the best teg site-!!
Both my brother and I have ingall’s kits. I’m not sure of the part number but it was the one recommended for about a 2" drop. Neither of us installed ours because at the time we didn’t know much about suspension work and all. I know the shop that installed my brother’s said it was a great kit and very easy to install and adjust. I would do it myself now that I know more about working under the car. I HTH.

camber
I have skunk 2’s droped probably three inches. so I did sprint camber all the way around(adjust +3 to -3 degrees). The rear is easy to install. The front is phuckin hard. Not complicating, more of just a pain in the ass. Sprint camber is about a hundred bucks a corner.
camber degrees
does the degrees go by inches
if i drop 2 inches adjust degrees 2 degrees
3 inches 3 degrees
and so on
???
camber
No, but it’s close. 3 degress of camber correction could probably handle up to four inches of drop.
I purchased the ingalls camber kit from lightning motorports, it corrects the camber for up to 2 degrees, my car is lowered on neuspeed springs and tokico struts, will that be enough? can I get some tips on putting it in. thanks for the help

gang I have the Progress Cam kit for all 4 corners, I had the wheel aligned and the dud said that he can not fix the correction on camber, needs to be at 1.0 I have it a t 1.2 on 18" wheels so what do I do, i have a 2.5 drop
My car is on 18s too, and the kit goes up to 2 degrees… so that should be enough…??
it’s lowered 2"
my camber kit is -3 camber adjustment
Rim size will not affect ur camber settings, its the amount ur car is lowered. I only have had experience with Ingalls camber kits and I did the install myself. Rear is a sinch and the fronts are just a little be longer (not harder) to install. Just make sure to grease the bushings up real good so they dont squeek(especially if u got the polyurethane kit). But for the most part, the Ingalls extreme kit adjusts camber +1.25° to -3 degrees. Thats what I have and Im lowered on Nuespeed Race Springs which is a 2" drop all around. Good luck guys

ingalls kit
when I ordered my kit, I got the rubber bushings instead of polyurethane, was that a bad move???
Good since rubber wont squeek as loud or as much
Bad because polyurethane will outlast rubber and is more stiff.

camber degrees
how can i find out how much degrees i need to adjust?
background info:
getting skunkworks coilovers (not yet)
only lower car to get rid of weel well gap (no more than 2 inches)
havent dropped it yet
so how do i know wether i need cheap kit (prodrive) where it only has two settings
or expensive Ingalls kit that will take care of any camber problem i will have?
TIA

I think u just answered ur own question bro, 1st off, ur getting coilovers which means u have the ability to adjust ride height, so wouldnt it be wise to get a camber kit that would conform to ur needs? U also gotta think about ur tires, I mean, thats the whole point of getting a camber kit in the 1st place, I dont want to even think about having to pay for tires every 2months cause I went cheap. Also having 2 preset settings sucks cause u already know its not dialed in, Ingalls will give u a +1.25° to 3° of freedom to play with, Part #3572, besides, u’ll never know when u have the urge to go lower so it just comes in handy. HTH
