Ive read that whe installing a camber kit you need locktite is this true for all of them or just the prodrive ones if so what bolt do i put the locktite on any pics thanks ? I just ordered a front ingalls set thanks.
I didn’t apply any where did you hear this from punctuations are overrated.
loctite is generally used on nuts, nolts, screws etc… to help keep them from becoming loose after time. its cool to use but not a total MUST on things. i believe it also has some sort of anti rust additive to them (good for places where rust is an issue). but you basically apply it in places where there is metal to metal contact. as in threads of bolts n such. HTH
The Prodrive and Progress kits you need(recommended in instructions) to apply loctite to the threaded rod going into the anchor. This is due to the design of the product since its a two piece design. For the kits such ingalls, sprints, SP’s and such you dont need it. Just torque down the bolts to the recommend specs in the instructiions provided (if not use stock specs).
Thanks guys =)
