I’m just wondering when I remove the cams do I need loosen the valve adjuster screws? According to the repair manual, it tells me to loosen all the valve adjuster screws prior to remove the cams. I just hate loosen all of the screws.

loosening all those screws aid in making the cams installation a lot smoother, dont cut corners if the books calls to loosen them. Do it. not gonna take you but 10 minutes to loosen them and a hour to readjust them!
