can anyone id this IM/TB?

only thing on it is an “IPT” on the TB and fuel rail, and “P2K IPT-1” on the rear of the IM.
and “C” marked on the rear of the TB

was told that its a civic si manifold???

TB measures aprox. 62mm Front/59mm rear.

If it has a 62mm TB then that is an ITR throttle body, or possibly a stock throttle body bored out to 62mm, and I’m not sure what the IM is because I’ve never heard of it. I know a P72 and P73 are Type R manifolds, but have never heard of the one that you have.

no it has not been bored.

It looks like a b20 IM to me…

Could be, I’m not sure though, I thought they were more “L” shaped then that.

???

who cares its junk anyway, buy a skunk or itr. nuff said.

P73 would be ITR and P72 would be GSR as far as IM’s are concerned.

That manifold is deffinately not from a Civic Si, notice how there’s no spot for the throttle cable bracket. The fuel rail is from either an Si or a CRV.

oh well, since there is not a definate answer ill jus hunt it down with honda… thanks guys =)

That looks like a Prelude manifold. I’m pretty sure that’s right cuz Lude’s have dual stage manifold’s too.

Definitely not an H22 manifold. That isn’t dual stage, you can see that the manifold is a casted single piece. H22 manifolds are two piece like the B18C1 motors, the fuel rail for an H22 is cast and not extruded aluminum, the fuel line fitting is on the wrong side, and it doesn’t have the “PGM-FI” plate on the top.

Definitely not a B20 manifold, bolt pattern is wrong.

Definitely not a B16 manifold, bolt pattern is wrong.

You can see that there are only three bolt holes in the second picture for the bottom of this manifolds flange.

My best guess would be that it is for a Civic SOHC motor of sorts.

Why would a SOHC have a 62mm throttle body? that is the size of the OEM ITR throttle body!

SOHC deffinately does not have a 62mm TB, I’m using a SOHC Civic one on my Skunk2 right now (because I’m waiting for my port matched TB) and it’s smaller than the LS. It also has a FITV on the bottom of it, which the one in the picture does not. That manifold still can’t be from a Civic because there’s no place for the throttle cable bracket. I’m going to speculate that it’s from a CRV because it has the reverse throttle cable like the '94+ GSR, but like I said, it’s only speculation.

looks like a SOHC 96+ EX intake manifold Andee. the “SOHC ITR Intake Manifold” and as for the TB my guess is a GSR? u said the Throttle plate side is 59mm? u building a monster single cam? lol hey for all u non believers in sohc. my buddies crx ran 13.6 sohc com nonvtec. and all i gotta say is, look at Bisi.

youd think after all the IM’s we’ve cancelled out we could figure out for sure which one it is? How many are left to choose from? What about an 86-89 integra IM?

SOHC F-series accord 4cyl. motors is my guess.

that is an intake from a 96-98 civic. It says IPT because IPT makes the parts for the US built vehicles like the SI,TL,CL,Accord, and oddessy. Based on experience IPT’s parts quality is junk compared to the JDM OEM for the USDM and JDM cars like the integra. Cars built in Japan have their parts built by Kehin, showa, densigiken, or honda of japan. North american built cars have their parts built by IPT, Delphi(delco) or some other brand.
