anyone know how close the sedans rear seats are to a coupes??? i want to put full 92 gsr interior (REAR SEATS) into a 4door, I am building for the wife a GS-R (“SEDAN”)… am i gonna have a tough time, anyone ever see the diff between the 2 types of rear seats, i know the differance between the fronts but the rears i never messed with them, any info would help thanks guys and girls…

I highly doubt that the rear coupe seats will fit into a sedan. They are different dimensions as far as height. I’m actually attempting to take my rear GS-R seats and install the rear head rest from the sedan and implant them into the coupe seats. Are you just wanting the GS-R patterned seats?

yea i gotta have real gsr seats in a sedan im building a “GS-R sedan(4door)” to match my gsr so i want it to be 100 percent the same i have a whole 92 gsr donor car so im gonna have the b17 the trans vtec moldings, gsr badge all the stuff to make it, i guess i could just get leathers, as some gsr’s came with leather but i really want the cloth seats to match in both cars…

your best bet is to find a good auto upholsterer.

Growing up in the family business of automotive re-upholstery, I would suggest one of 2 things:

  1. Go all leather since some GS-R’s came in all leather. (Very Rare)

  2. Take some rear seats from a 92/93 DB1 with the same material as the bolsters (the grey velour type material), remove the patterned section from them, and the have the patterned section from the rear GS-R seats (red stripes) taken out and put back together with the DB1 bolsters and remounted on the DB1 rears.

If you lived in GA, I could help you out. Hope that this helps you make a decision.

what about the rear seats from teh 3rd gen 4 door (DB7/DB8) integras?

yea i have a DB1 with cloths and a kid wants to trade me for leathers from a DA9 and i was hoping that they would fit but i dont think they are the same even tho they look alot alike
