May I ask why you are switching back to the P/S steering setup? Manual is too much of a workout? lol

Yea, don`t get me started lol. I’d say its borderline impossible and I’m in above average physical condition.

Track use only using a Quaife quick ratio rack on a DA with a 15x9 and 225, +4ish caster -2ish camber. Leaking sweat and exhausted after a 20 minute stint doesn’t make for precise driving. IMO a street car on street tires with an oem spec alignment would be a joke all day long, parallel parking included.

Ouch… you’re input is making me wary of doing the conversion lol. I was able to pick up a DX rack with a Quaife pinion awhile ago and still have it set aside. But taking your input, along with other members I’ve read here, they all had complaints of “muscling” the wheel around, making them too fatigue in a short period of time around the track. Yikes! I’m now a little hesitant, but I do have experience daily driving my brother’s old 1st gen integra with the lines looped and it really wasn’t THAT bad- but I never took it for some track time so I may be a bit naive about it lol. Damn the internet for giving me helpful information! lol. I guess the only way to know if it fits for me is to try it out myself hehe.

I appreciate the input, and sorry to go off-track on your f/s thread.

Nonetheless, GLWS! and Killer Deal!!

Also since you’re reverting back to stock, would you happen to have the accommodating manual speed sensor from a crx iirc?

No worries, always glad to help out. Having gone the route you’re thinking of all i can say is skip the trial end error and jut go with ps. Your rack should be worth a pretty penny(sold mine for over 300$) and you could build a kick ass ps setup a la MR2 pump then add a steering quickener if you still want a tight lock to lock.

Thanks for the free bumps

Don`t have the speed sensor sorry, been running a k for years now.

What part of Canada are you in? I’m interested in them.

How is the rack installed using the spacers? The only writeup I found on the EF rack swap was here: http://forums.g2ic.com/showthread.php?215147-How-To-Manual-Rack-Swap

It takes up the difference in diameter between the da ps rack (larger diameter) and ef manual rack (smaller diameter). So you just slip the spacer onto your new rack, reuse the da rack bushing and reinstall using all da rack hardware on that side.

I’m in Montreal, QC.

Ah I see. Would you do $20 shipped to Toronto?

ill take em, I just swaped in a civic manual rack in my 93 da. I suppose this will tighten it up a bit huh?
