can't find a crucial suspension part for my car HEEEEeelp!

I am completely replacing my entire suspension and steering systems. So far i have been able to find everything i need except one thing. The rubber spring mount that goes between the top of the spring and the strut mount. To be more specific the rear ones. I ordered front and rear from dealership and they emailed me saying that the rear have been discontinued and are no longer available. Has anyone had this problem, can anyone help.

The rubber under the top hat? That’s just for insulation and noise, they hardly serve any mechanical purpose. Just go to the pick and pull and find one or try from a newer integra.

Just found this today.

Try this thread. There’s a guy here who seems to be very helpful.
I too am working on a similar project. I have the springs, struts (both brand new), but don’t have the top hats. I might not have the rubber piece you’re talking about.

Good luck

Just go to Home Depot and get a piece of heavy duty rubber hose about the length of the top coil with same diameter and cut it length wise then wrap it over the top coil and you’re good to go.
