I’m trying to put remote start but I can’t find those wires that are connected to the clutch. I checked the helms manual too. Someone help me out here.
there’s actually two sets. there’s the lower switch for the CC to know you touched the clutch and the upper switch to tell the car the clutch is all the way in so it will start. you are obviously looking for the upper ones. the chilton’s manual will show you the diagram for the clutch interlock circuit, and it should show you the wire color.
man im blind or something but i spend a good 15 min trying to find those wires. Do i have to take of the metal plate under the dash to see the wires?
The wires are in a black split loom. They are both black. Just open up the looms and search for two black wires. There should only be two black wires in the loom and nothing else. One is full black and the other has i white stripe if i remember correctly. Once you find them, use a one of those wire tap things and connect the two and you should be set.
