Can't spell Honda with out DA! (introduction/build)

luv those te’s.

Thanks man, i plan on having them powder coated when the tires get replaced. back to Bronze

so beautiful

^^^Thanks for the love!

Driver side axle is giving me a headache…

on the plus side we picked up a color matched hatch. Integra XSi. Real Bronze glass. No 3rd brake light on top of the glass, LED light on the spoiler works a 100%

^^going to remove the “integra xsi” decal…
and just keep H emblem with the Integra decal in the center.
That “Integra” decal only comes on 90 Integras and older…
So i want to show that off, Old School baby!

I was able to make it to So Cal for The Chronicles meet in Corona, CA
Took off my wheels for the night hehe

^^the only pic me and my girlfriend took of the car at the meet, my friend has a load of pictures that hasn’t been uploaded yet. ill post em when we get a chance.

Nice build man! I got a couple of questions for you, did you have to cut your shifter area for the Hybrid racing shifter box? Or was it a direct bolt in? Also what is the "feel"of the HR shifter box? I’m thinking of purchasing this shift box w/the HR cables.

got a dumbass question, was this swap really hard to do? sorry that seems like a noob question lol

OE body kit. nice score, it should compliment this teggy nicely:up:

no cutting required, plug and play. it feels great/smooth. there is a lot of different settings and angles for you to mount the shift lever.
its a racing shift box, so just keep that in mind. short shifter. takes a little muscle but you get use to it.

well if you have all the resources, funds and time to do it. its not hard. i didn’t do this alone. I had friends giving me a hand and professionals to weld.
it just sucks that DA are way different from EF/DC so you gotta keep alot of things in mind because you have to change everything! even after market parts have clearance problems (skunk2 header & hasport mounts)

fuel/heater/cooling/axle/VSS/header clearance and the wiring from engine to chassis were my biggest concerns.

Thank you! its so hard to resist the temptation of installing it, if i were to install the kit as-is i would look like a CRX,
but i have to resist till the day my car goes into the paint booth (summer 2013).

From the Bay to LA, California. The Chronicles IV meet at Eibach.
Yes, that’s a zip tie holding up my lip.

Pit stop.

At the event!

I look like a mess but i was happy to be there and greet everyone who came up to my car.

Your engine bay is so sick! You happy with the power the K puts down?

Absolutely! Love the torque, and the power it makes at high speeds
Im not 100 percent sure if my vss is accurate but, a full tank got me 400 miles + (all highway) 95mph at 4k rpm
The HR shifter takes a little gettig use too; short, smooth and tight would be the best way to describe it.
The quality on it just compliments the engine so well.
I do have the stiffest mounts Hasport has to offer & a 3" exhaust…loud, vibration, no ac…having the window open creates more noise, not to mention having the music on blast. Not really a road trip type of car. Especially with a sensitive bladder girlfriend.

Funny how tight k-series transmissions feel… Sooo different than a b-series.

Car has come together in great fashion man. Props for sure!

Thanks for the positive feedback, greatly appreciated. Happy to see support and love from the g2ic community!

small update, now i know my engine runs, no leaks or check engine lights, i am now relocating my fuel pressure regulator and filter under the dash.

I wanted a location where i can see the pressure gauge and have access to the fuel filter.
Behind the glove box! only 4 screws hold it together and it has a mounting tab where the A/C use to be.
