Can't spell Honda with out DA! (introduction/build)

Tearing it down.
Plans:
Powder coat subframe (semi gloss black)
Clean/spray the wheel wells, knuckles, caliper and control arms.
New Energy bushings for the front control arms too

the more i looked at my brake lines, the more i wasn’t happy with it.
so i went a head and had them re-done;

I’m very happy with how they turned out.
now for the fuel lines…the first set up was basic and it worked…but now that I KNOW everything works, i want to tuck everything.
Thank you Mike @ K-Tuned.

Cut & Flared.

how its gonna look; -5an to -6an to 6-8 & FPR 8-8an out to a size -8an fuel filter out, and -8an hose all the way to center port of the fuel rail. return will be 8-6 under the FPR.

the fuel filter will be located behind the glove box for easy access.
Currently looking into a inline filter that wont get clogged after a month of driving.

Hey man you don’t have to teflon a sae fitting.

Agreed! and if I would match your return line to what ever your pre-rail line size is. Im pressive fuel setup never the less

Just currius but are you gonna mount the FPR where it is in those pictures?? I wouldnt think that the best spot for multiple reasons.

you’re right, im taking it off tomorrow. dealing with fuel…i just wanted to be on the safe side. but i was just recently told that teflon can make a gap for fuel to leak. plus fuel does eat it quick.

yes, that is where i will be mounting the FPR, i would love to hear your reasons not too. i have a few friends that have their FPR under the dash. i cant really see the problem?

routed my feed and return lines with my friend Sal. we made it work around my heater core.

K-tuned out!

Filter & feed line hasn’t been mocked up yet. still have to remove the passenger fender and re-install the engine for measurements…

Rowell & Allan helped me put the engine back in.

I still got a lot more work to do:
sub-frame, steering rack, sway bar
front knuckles, suspension, axles, traction bar
after that i can mock up/install the new fuel lines.

Sub frame
Steering rack
Sway bar
Header - Exhaust
Front Knuckles
Traction bar
and rear mount are finally back on.

within this week, i’m hoping to complete the fuel system, install the dash, and bolt up the front end.

nice work man, K into DA its not an easy task.

Thx, its not easy…not to mention how expensive it all is, im ALMOST done with this swap though! 90%, 10% to go

K-Tuned fuel setup.
-5 to -6 too the fuel pressure regulator, -8 all the way to the center port of the fuel rail. Set at 50 psi. No leaks!

Tomorrow is my day off. I plan to install the dashboard, front suspension, the radiator and all its hoses…more pictures to come

Yw…yea it took me a month to find one. Aztec green almost all stock. U kind of have a db2 on steroids LOL.

RS but GSR inspired… Still not a db2…, thanks though!

not sure if anyone asked but where did you get the grommets for the firewall? I would like to plug my firewall holes the same way.

Dude! These are the original ones, i just fliped them backwards haha.

I even made this one work for my fuel vapors

I only asked cause a fuel leak could be catastrophic to no only the car but you own wellbeing, but if its been proven to you, go for it. Love all the new work put in

Thank you!!
