Shout out to " rollinmyda" Mike! for hooking me up with the driver side interior door handle
Tan/polished metal
I’ve seen them in black/metal once in a while and when i found a tan interior DA at the local junk yard it had the passenger side polished door handle only.
The driver side door was stripped down to the shell…
Which left me hunting to find a some what rare tan interior piece. luckily Mike had the driver side piece i was looking for laying around his garage!
The little things add up:
Man those plastic handles were nasty! You have a good method for cleaning the tan plastics?
as of right now, i’m using a steam cleaner, but its not the best…ill get some marks and stains i cant steam out

I went to several junk yards and this was IT. hopefully they clean up nice and i will be talking with an upholstery guy soon to see what he can do with changing the fabric on 2 doors, 2 rear panel inserts and 1 arm rest cover.

thanks man, but i recently found one here in my WTB ad…currently cleaning it up. has some rust cancer on the bracket and paint on the top portion of the arm rest.

…it does feel unreal because one; i emailed them about a feature, and they never responded back. But on the other hand it’s not as “clean”… original paint, stock K20 w/ bolt on’s…i hope to change all of that this year and re apply again for that feature!

The plan is to have the skirts painted, spice up the engine bay more and complete the interior before May. WEKFEST LA (if i get in)
2nd chance would be WEKFEST SF in August.

RS tan door panels. manual windows/lock. i found a pair but its 5/10… always looking for a cleaner set
