Ok i have some issues with my car alarm i just bought a 90 integra db1 with auto trans. anyways heres my problem with my alarm. The alarm works but my remote starter wont work. i just recently installed it i did everything on the manual but it doesnt work. I checked all the wirings and connections still doesnt work. i press the buttons it chirps but no starts.:werd::think::shrug::shrug:
it took me all day to figure it out but no luck Pls help
How did you hook up the relay? Or did you? And i think you need to push and hold the button to activate the auto start. What brand of alarm do you have and please post pics of the install and the wiring so we can better help you.
i have the actual wiring of the alarm and its icbm 7071. The only thing that confuses me is the the relay it says cut then connect to the distributor? so my question is do i need to connect the other end to get a 12v? where to connect this wires? or can i connect it to the starter wire? Im confused i installed basic alarms but this is my first installing a remote start system. Pls tell me where to connect this damn wires on 7P and the relay wires i have the wiring diagram. I dont know where to connect the 7P wires and the relay wires except the key cylinder i know i connect those right but the other wires from 7P im lost. I connect the tach wire and there is another wire ill find the owners manual tomorrow morning ill take some pictures on it.
