i got this for my 91 rs for a birthday gift a while back and its giving me troubles. 1st off, the instructions suck ass, i think someone translated it over from chinese and you cant really follow what they’re trying to say. I basically got everything working except, the new code learning and valet mode. There is no switch to enter valet so im assuming that you have to have the key set to run and then push a combination of buttons? And currently its locked into the Armed status so like most alarms you have to get into valet to disarm it correct?
Then the remotes are not programed and will need to be.
Are there programing instructions in the manual.
A switch/button may not be necessary to put alarm into valet/program mode, it may be something like say a Compustar turn ign. switch on and off and then back on again 5 times, but you will need to figure out how that is done, can you post the part of the manual that indicates how programing is done?:hmm:94
it doesnt say jack shit, otherwise i would have played around with it and figured it out, and i cant find anything on the internet about the alarm either :think:
