I installed my header, drove off, and my car died 10 miles later on the highway. I was just cruising @ 60mph and the rpm’s fell to zero and the radio and stuff kept playing. I just had my coil, ignitor, rotor, plugs, and caps replaced 2 months ago. What could it be? I would hope it has nothing todo wit the distributer.
what does the oxygen sensor look like? is it plugged into its place properly?? its all i can think of. the distributor could be a problem, but not too likely.
Any ECU codes? check there – there may be something there that will point you in the right direction.

I had to splice the 02 sensor wire to extend it. But even if i ****ed that up, that wouldnt cause the car not to start would it?
And how do i check the ecu codes?
The O2 sensor wouldnt have anything to do with your car not starting. You can unplug the thing and your car would still run. Is your check engine light on? Only thing i can think of is your timing belt snapped. How long has it been since you last changed the belt?

you would have to ask the previous owner that, i got the car 2 years ago I’ll take off my oil cap and see if the cams turn tommorow. I swear to god if it has anything todo with the distributer, i’m kickin sum mechanic ass
yes, my CEL was on. How do i check the code?
My cams are turning so its not my t-belt. I tried to jump my ecu, but i couldnt find a green connector anywhere? can anyone help me locate it? heh
