you’ll need a dvom. for the ect, set it to ohms, range it to the proper setting for whatever spec is cold. disconnect ect connector, place pos lead on ect sensor pin, neg lead on chassis to ground. note reading. reconnect, start vehicle and warm to operating temp. disconnect sensor and take reading warm as you did when it was cold. note reading and compare with spec.
for the o2 sensor, set it to read dc volts. vehicle at operating temp, o2 sensor hooked up, back probe the o2 connector. that is, push the pos lead into the back of the connector, through the weather seal. ground the neg lead to chassis. you should get readings pulsing from .1v to roughly 1v, back and forth
