Car Dies Right After Started

this is one of the many problems my car experiences sometimes. it does not do it all the time, just occationally. it will start up then die right after, and i won’t be able to start it. then i wait about a minute, try a few times and usually i can get it to start. i also have a starting problem, i dont know if that has to do with anything. if anyone knows anything about this then let me know whats up. thanks

Main Fuel Relay… :search: Do a search, I posted a lot of info on this lately… Prior to replacing mine, I had the exact same problem you described.

HTH!

TTT

Did you checked your main fuel relay? i’m pretty sure that’s your problem! Probably happening more when it’s hot outside isn’t it?

yeah check your main fuel relay like answer said and SEARCH. the relay is under the driver side knee panel and bolster (the metal behind).

try your COIL!!!

If I hear the word COIL one more time, ima  … this has been asked SO many times, it would make a great novel by now!

Heres something to read about the main fuel relay…MFR
Also have your coil and ignitor check out and see if they are still in spec…

Another thing you could do is buy a bottle of Pyroil starting fluid. I had the same problem and after it wouldn’t start i sprayed a little of that stuff into the resonator and it started right up. You can pick up a bottle at most auto parts stores. Also you can kill just about anything with that stuff, its extremely lethol:danger: so don’t spray it in one area too long.
