I turn the key on and nothing the starter does not spin or click nothing try and few times and then it starts what could be the problum? thanks
More than likely your starter is gone. Check your battery first to make sure its properly charged. And the alternator is charging it. Check for any corroded wires (battery, alt, starter, etc.). If these check out OK, then 90% it’s the starter.

I got a rebuilt for $100 Canadian plus applicable taxes. Replacement is a bit of a pain when doing it the first time around.

before u change the starter, test your battery at autozone and if its good, sand down the battery cables and connectors. my popz '87 blazer had the same problem, he changed the starter and still didnt fix… if it was your starter it would of gave away already, if it makes a clicking sound or a weird sound when you start your car, then you know its your starter. chances are it could be your cables or something similar, have a mechanic check it out
