ok… I just had this problem yesterday. I went to start my car and it wouldnt start. It Like started, then Died. It did that 2 Times. well I goto a Pay phone and Call dad. Dads on his way to pick me up. I decide to try to start it one more time & it starts right up. Well later on that night. It did the same thing. It Started then just died right when it was started. Well I wait a couple mins then it started right up. Has anyone had the same problem and can tell me what it could be??

main fuel relay
so it is normal??? is it anything major??
it seems everyone has this problem at one point or another. Simply listen to your fuel pump and hear is it’s on. The main fuel relay controlls your Pump,and Fuel injectors. if it is bad it will either not sent the signal to your Fuel pump/injectors. it is under your dash on the left of your steering wheel. it is a brown/black box. you should also check to see if you got spark.
can someone elaborate on the procedure and cost of replacement product to do this. a friend (who happens to be a cute girl :drool: ) is having this problem with her teg

Okay first check to see it it’s the battery (free)
Try to take one of Mom or Dads car and check to see if your car starts with that one.
Next check you alternator (free)
Once your car starts disconect one of the batterie terminals if it turns off it is bad. if it doesn’t …well then it is obviously fine.
Then check to see if you got spark (free)
Disconect one of your plug wires stick a screw driver where the plug would attach and have a friend slowly crank the car. If there is a spark then you can proceed to the next step.
Change the relay.(50+ Dollars) this you can do on your own.
hey guys, do a search on “Main Fuel Relay”, I posted a lot of info on how to replace it and how to diagnose it. (I replaced mine two days ago…)
