Car not turning over???? quick help is needed!

Well now since i am forced to miss work i’ll have some time to check this out!
It started and I drove it around for alittle while but once i got home and park it…well it wouldn’t start!

  1. Stater…

  2. Not the battery or alternator I think because the radio, pwr windows, locks and sunroof all work fine and strong!

  3. Wires and plugs maybe?

  4. I was waiting to get a push jump then turn it off to check on the starter…well what do yall think?

Does the engine crank when you try to start it?

Regards,

Oz

it does but it just doesn’t want to complely turn over! I don’t want to flood this thing out!

can anyone else offer some help?

if it cranks its not the starter. things turning on doesnt mean ur battery is good. starting has nothing to do with the alternator. check if your battery is fully charged or try a jump start. check if u got spark. listen for fuel. might be the ignitor or coil. try your push start but if it doesnt start remember u got to push it back. if u want to check on the starter just take some wires and hook it directly to the battery. just not for too long. check the starter motor and the solenoid switch. if it spins and clicks its fine. but i doubt its that since it can crank.

I haven’t done the starter to wire check yet! But I pushed and had my girl try to jump start it but that didn’t work!
My next step is to check out fuses…From the all the other post i’ve been reading this seems to be a problem for other people on this board!

Have your coil checked out. Im pretty sure your coil is done, but who knows it could be something else.

the coil does look really old! So i’ll check that and get back with U
Hey what is a easy way to test it without going to the auto store?
