I changed the cv boots, got the wheel balanced and rotated and had the car aligned. I got the boots replaced after the alignment though. Anyways I was told by sears that I need to get camber kits for proper alignment adjustment. The car has a very hard pull to the right, its not a slow pull but an instant one. Will this be solved after getting a front camber kit? If yes where can I get one cheap?
Sound like your left caliper seized…I’d have the caliper checked. What happens is that when your left caliper is seized, only the right caliper works and the right wheel is the only one stopping causing the car to pull to the right hard
I dont see why getting the right boot changed would seize the left caliper…or any caliper for that matter. Look for yourself and see if they screwed anything up while they were working on your car
I didn’t say that the work done is what caused the problem, but from what he is saying, it sounds like a seized caliper.
Also, check the brake lines to see if any of them are cut and leaking
The car is pulling while normal driving, not just braking. The pull isn’t that hard at low speeds, but on the highway its a little dangerous. The brakes work just fine, there are no sounds but I need to change my rotors. I can’t fingure it out, perhaps after getting the camber kit and alignment it will be fine or else I am killing my tires, not to mention my ride.
Tire pressure?? Maybe one side has too much air and the other not enough. Happened on mine, but don’t know how I was so dumb…
Two things.

Sounds like maybe they ****ed up your alignment??

Maybe your girlfriend is too fat.
Just a joke. Had a buddy who worked at an alignment shop and this guy came in about 350-400 lbs. Got his FESTIVA alligned. kept complaining that it pulled to the left. So finally they did the allignment with him IN the car. Fixed it right up.
Unfortunatly his wife came in the next week complaining that it now pulled to the right. Unfortunately he had to tell her the truth. Needless to say, she was not happy…

yea it’s happening to my car too
everytime i drive fast on a bumpy road or when im going to downward on a hill, that car goes to the right hard. Wonder what’s wrong? it’s not the tires im pretty sure of that.
Alignment?
Its a conspiracy from thoes damn local boys and thoes j-body guys! I swear wehn we not looking there messing up our alignments so it looks like there cars handle better!![]()
Just check your rear lower control arm bushes, these are notorious for ripping after a certain age and miles. Mine are gone and it does the same prob when braking, my left bush has ripped and causes the car to lunge right.Think about it, when you brake, one wheel will be forced back while the other stays in the correct place, a bit like a skateboard. The result you will get is a bit like passive rear wheel steer.I can almost guarantee this is your prob. Either that or your mechanic seriously doesnt know how to do a wheel alignment.

Try checking your… hmmm… dunno what its called, but its the bar that goes from your lower control arm (in the front) and it bolts to the x-member (i think) but i had the same pulling prob and i finally checked it out and i was missing a bushing and a nut that supported pretty much the whole bottom of the suspension. An easy way to see if that is it is to jack up the right side of the car and try to move the wheel front to back. When doing this look at your suspension to see if anything is moving that shouldnt be. HTH
