car rattles under start up

When I start up my car, for a few second the engine rattles pretty loud, and it’s even louder when I start it up cold. any idea’s???

HELP, no one know, wow I would think out of all of these people someone would know, but oh well. I just need to know if it’s bad, or I shouldn’t be worried about it.

Im not sure but I’ll take a stab a it, my teg rattles a little in the cold mornings too but I would think its normal until the engine warms up…mines more of a vibration of the steering wheel than a rattling though…hows ur coolant mixture? got enough oil in that sumbitch? Does it goe away once the engine is warm?

It does go away, but it sounds pretty bad untill it’s warm. It’s in the engine, I might need a valve adjustment, but I was just wondering what it was. It makes a higher pitched rattle when cold and I just take off when I don’t let it warm up(I know it’s bad, but sometimes when I’m late).
