this is really weird, the car drives with no prolems. but for the past couple of days when i do a cold start the car turns on with no problems . but when the car is warm when i try to turn it on , it will start with no problems but then the rpm starts to fall and it shuts off. if i try to turn it on again, it does the same turns on with no problems but then it just chokes and dies. if i give it gas for a couple of seconds then i drive its fine.
it does’nt do it all the time.
can someone try to help me out here.
i changed the plugs. the wires are from my b18a and the car has a b16a
don’t be so quick to change your o2 sensor. It is most likely the coil of ICM (ignition control module). If your coil is faulty, it can overheat, causing the car to stall. You will be able to start it up in a little while though afterwards. If it is your ICM, you car could randomly stall (as mine did a few weeks ago) and you would be able to restart it right afterwards in some cases, but not at all in others. I would look at those distributor parts first before the o2 sensor.

Certain Wal-Mart stores carry them. I know the Wal-Mart in Square One, Mississauga carries them for $40Cdn. for the Universal fit, and $72 for the Direct-fit.
