duno wats wrong
okay… so i took out the vavle cover to paint it … than for sum reason i started the car with the vavle off… when i realized it was spitting oil i turned it off… it was probly for like 10 seconds… than i put the cover back on … nd tightened all the bolts… and than started it again … it started fine… untill it started to smoke from the header than all over the place… i realized there was one bolt missing nd theres air coming out when itz on … the smoke only comes when it gets wrom… i was thinking it was just oil burning since it spat so much oil out…than i washed it … but it still does the same thing… watz wrong ???
its the oil so dont even worry about it. I mean come on for 10 secs? thats long enough for oil to get everywhere stating if u had ur hood down. But yea its normal if its burning after the fact u got oil on it. Same thing when u change ur oil and ur oil filter and oil drips out and leak onto the downpipe u wipe it off. Then later u go and start it up and u notice smoke coming from the header and fan area see same thing.
What were u thinking starting the engine without valve cover?
ooo but itz been like a while i have washed the area completely and it still smokes ??? ooo hehehe i duno wat i was thinking i musta forgot that it was off
also could it be possiable that i need 2 refill oil is that long enough to lose a lot of oil also … if theres not enough oil how would the engine sound
how do you forget the vavlecover is off? i mean you would have to put the plug wires back in the holes for it to run, and it is pretty obvious the cover is off whe doing that. lol
