Car sounds like it's breaking when hitting potholes

Whenever I hit a pothole, it sounds like my dashboard and other parts of the car is really taking a toll. I imagine that part of it has to do with the suspension, as mine is a little bit worn. I intend to get coilovers. I’m not sure if it’s wear and tear or simply my subwoofers vibrating things loose. I have 2 friends that drive their 06/09 Civics often. One is bone stock and feels/sounds fine. The other has an even more powerful subwoofer system than mine and sounds like shit, just like mine, when hitting a pothole/bump. You get the whole dashboard breaking sound, and other sounds I can’t describe too well.
What has to be done to make it quiet again? Does anyone have experience with this matter? Do I have to rip apart the entire dash and interior to search for loose parts?
Thank you.

can you record the soundd in a video clip, i had the same problem ,but it took me a while to figure it was the suspenion rubber place between the spring and the top har hat. that was causing the squeaking/ erking sound due to wear & tear.

Most likely you rattled the screws on your dash loose check alll the screws around the car, Most likely you have to take out the dash and replace it with new ones

blown shocks ftw lol

If dash is “ratteling” you will need to remove it, [not hard to do] and retighten thingsunder the dash, [heater box and so on] you can also tighten things up on the back of/attatched to the dash itself, then remount dash making sure all mounting hardware is tight.

Some Locktite on nuts/bolts/screws will help prevent them stay tight.

Fix the suspention most likely your biggest problem. 94

I had a similar issue and it ended up being my uca bushings.
