My 91 auto DA all of a sudden started making loud screetching noises then it stalls. This started when thge rains came so i thought it would go away afterwards. now its 90degrees outside and teh car is still stalling. Im afraid to drive it because of the sound. anyone know what the problem coud be? TIA
When does it stall? At a stop? Does the engine start normally ? How long does it take before it stalls?

just got back from the mechanic and apparently my a/c compressor is locked up so the belts were rubbing against it but not able to spin so unless i spend $600 (which im not), it looks like no more a/c for me…
i just cut my ac belt.
it was making that old car belt whining noises after it rained of i washed the car etc.
