Tonight between 7:00 and 9:00 PM at the BART parking lot on B street, Hayward, my 1991 Acura Integra was stolen. I am posting this as a help thread, for maybe you guys can help out by keeping a lookout. As I said the car is a 1991 Acura Integra RS 4 door. It has light blue metallic paint in immaculate condition, no dents, stock hub caps with acura indented across each rim, honda emblems front and rear, aftermarket exhaust (custom mandrel bent piping with flowmaster muffler), and a little emblem of a surfer on the upper right corner of the rear, above the passenger tail light, next to the RS emblem. The car is an automatic, with a Sony Xplode deck, two Apline Type E subs, with a 700w bazooka amp. Cosmetically and performance-wise, everything is stock minus the emblems and exhaust. So my celica is in the shop right now, so I have been driving this car, which is my brothers. After school today my girlfriend and I had to wait for my dad to come and get us, so we decide to go get something to eat, but before doing so we put our school stuff in my brothers car. My brother is with us so before I forget, I ask him if he can put my school stuff away while I’m at work when he gets home. After eating, we get picked up at Chabot college by my dad because I need to be at work, and I can’t wait for my brother since he has later classes. So after being picked up by my dad, somehow, we get on the discussion of civics being stolen, and I mention that my year Integra has a high rate of theft as well. (I’ll get back to this later)
Anyways, when I get home from work today, I have to go to Hula practice (yeah I dance Hula) at 7:00. My Halau (hula studio) is located directly across from the Hayward BART parking lot, in which all the hula students park. So, before I go to hula I decide I’ll call my mom and see if she can take me since my brother wants to use the car. Of course I don’t get a hold of her, so I end up using the Integra anyways. While driving through the parking lot I see a BART cop, but as anyone would do, I think nothing of it and continue on my way. Finally at 9:00 when class is over, this is where I find that my car is gone! So I ask, why on the day after I take my celica to the mechanic does my car get stolen? Why on the day I call my mom to take me somewhere, does she not answer as she usually would? Why on the day that I mention Integra’s getting stolen does my Integra get stolen? Why on the only day I leave stuff in the car, does my car get stolen with all my stuff in it? And finally, why on the day that there is actually a cop in the parking lot, is he not there to see my car getting stolen??? Everything seems to just fit too damn perfect and on top of that ALL of my school stuff was in there. Anyways, that’s the story, and sorry if it’s confusing but I had to share it and I’m also still really pissed.
I’m hoping since the car is bone stock that I’ll get most parts back. But that probably doesn’t mean much either, most likely get it back with a rattle canned hood and fenders, sitting on cinder blocks. Thanks for the support though guys.
