Car take a min to start and does so roughly.{VIDEO}

ok so my car is starting to DIE! heres the list…

1.loss of power
2.boggy acceleration
3.smoke and black shit out of tail pipe(im guessin oil)
4.over heating even with hoses,radiator cap and thermostat replaced
5. hard to start,rough knocking and i have to hold gas to the floor just to get it to begin to start (see video below.sorry about the quality turn your vol up the video is from my razr and the vol is low)

Ok, don’t ever ever rev the engine while it’s cold. Thats very very bad. Anyways your best bet to start off with (I was gonna say tune up, but you did that already) is a compression test fellow by a leak down test. Anyways I wanna know other things about your car. What type of gas do you put in? Are there any mods?

it wasnt cold it only does that after its been running for a while. when its cold it starts up way easier.i use unleaded and the whole motor is stock besides a cheap cool air intake.heres a list of notable work ive done in the past 6 months

1.replaced transmission
2.replaced all motor mounts(oem)
3.replaced tie rod ends
4.and a tune up plus got my oil changed (castrol gtx high mileage 10w30)

i was thinkin maybe its a blown headgasket but i have no oil in my coolant or vice versa but i wouldnt see y its not still possible.

BTW the smoke is white with a very very light tint of blue

So your burning some anti-freeze along with oil. It might be blown head gasket. But when your done with your compression test, you’ll know.

didnt even get done with the number one before we found out it was a blown headgasket. turned it over and shot water out of the number 2 and 3. now the question is would it be better and by better i mean cheaper to get someone to donate and old b18a1 head and pay shipping(hint hint wink wink lol) or get this one re surfaced ,also should i get new head bolts or can i reuse the old ones(im on a tight tight budget)??

Lol. I know someone who is selling a b18a1 (if he still has it) head minus the rockers and the cams. I just PM him and he’s selling it for 50 us dollers (he’s on team-integra.net). Anyways, if you where to replace the head gasket. It’s highly recommended to replace the head bolts. But ethier way you still gotta resurface the deck since theres a good chance that you warped it a little along with the head. But I wouldn’t know much it is to get all done since I never blown a head gasket (knock on wood).

Np. I spoke to him today. He said he bought it off another T.I. member so he dosn’t know how many miles are on it, and dosn’t know if it’s been resurface or not. But he said he’ll get back to me as soon as he finds out how much shipping is gonna be. But It’s up to you if you still want to take the chance to but it or not.

ya i dont know cause im on a tight budget so i have to buy something thats gonna last and if it needs to be resufaced then i will just resurface mine.
